Can I use the same data on multiple devices?

Yes. When you sign in with the same account, your tasks and repeat settings are synced to the cloud and shown with the same content on your other devices (some syncing may be a paid feature).

Can I use the app offline?

Basic viewing and editing work offline. When you come back online, your changes are synced automatically.

What does "carry forward" (C/F) mean?

It moves a task you didn't finish that day to the next day or a day you choose. The original task shows where it was carried forward to, and you can undo the carry-forward if needed.

Where does a carried-forward task appear in the list on its new day?

A carried-forward task keeps its priority (A / B / C) and is treated as a "newly arriving item" within that day at the destination. The order of tasks already on that day does not change (it doesn't take their seats). Within the same priority, it goes into the open slot closest to its original rank; if there is no opening, it is sent to the next slot down. As a result, it may not automatically move up even when a higher slot is open — this is intended behavior.

If I add a higher-priority task, will the lower ones be reordered automatically?

SpicaGF does not automate priority reordering, because deciding "what to prioritize" is your own decision. Automatically pushing lower items down would cause unintended shifts in order (a chain reaction) and lose the sense that "you decided this order." You can change a task's rank manually at any time from the task edit screen.

How do repeating tasks work?

When you set a repeat such as daily, weekly, or monthly, the task appears automatically on the matching days. You can choose to edit just this one occurrence, or this and all future occurrences.

What is the "Overdue" indicator?

If tasks from before today remain that you haven't marked done, dropped, or carried forward, an "Overdue: N" indicator appears at the top of the daily screen. Tapping it opens a list; tapping a row takes you to that day's page, where you can resolve it by marking it done, dropping it, or carrying it forward. The count matches the number of rows in the list. Tasks that are done or dropped, tasks you have already carried forward, and today's or future tasks are not counted. If you don't want this indicator, you can turn it off from "Settings → Tasks → Show overdue tasks."

How do repeating tasks appear under "Overdue"?

For each repeat setting, only the newest occurrence you haven't started yet is shown, as a single grayed-out row (older occurrences are collapsed together). When you resolve that one by marking it done, dropping it, or carrying it forward, the next-oldest occurrence moves up. This is a mechanism for working through missed occurrences one at a time. A gray row is a repeat occurrence you have never opened. Tap it to open that day and finalize (materialize) its content.

Can I link a repeating task to a Monthly Goal?

Only the occurrences of a repeating task that you actually open on their day and link to a Monthly Goal are tied to that goal. Future occurrences you haven't opened yet (shown automatically) are not linked automatically. This is because a Monthly Goal belongs to "that month," whereas a repeating task can span many months. A single repeat setting cannot belong to multiple months' goals at once, so linking is done per day (per occurrence). If you want a particular day's repeating task counted as part of a goal, open that day's task and link it individually.

What can I search for?

From the search (🔍) at the top of the screen, you can search across tasks, Monthly Goals, and calendar events by title and notes (for events, the notes field). Each result row shows its type by the leading mark (🎯 = Monthly Goal / a colored priority = task / 📅 = event).

Is there a date range when searching calendar events?

Events are searched over a range from one year in the past to one year in the future, centered on today. Events outside that range are not shown in the results. Repeating events such as daily or weekly ones are shown as a single result, representing the occurrence closest to today (with upcoming occurrences preferred). Tapping that row opens that day's page.

Can I export my data?

Data export (CSV) is supported (some features may be paid).

I want to delete my account.

You can delete it from "Settings → Support → Delete account." When you delete, your stored data and authentication account are deleted in a form that cannot be restored.

I changed the language, but the app still shows the previous one / 言語を変えたのに、アプリの表示が元の言語のままです

Quit the app completely, then open it again (swipe up from the bottom to open the App Switcher, then swipe SpicaGF up). Your data is not affected. SpicaGF reads your language setting when it launches, so the display does not change while the app is still running.
